- CUSTOM LABEL MAKER
- ============================================================
-
-
- The program CUSTOM LABEL MAKER was written to help make
- fancy labels for disks, return address, and other label
- needs. It can provide the professional touch to your disk
- collection and correspondence. CLM will print the label on
- the screen each time you press [CTRL][P] allowing you to
- print many of the same or similar labels.
-
- There are two versions of CUSTOM LABEL MAKER in the
- Public Domain. They are:
-
- CLM-OKI.COM which prints the labels three-up on the
- Okidata m92/m93 printer. It makes use of four type sizes and
- near letter quality printing. The three-up labels were my
- preference because they easily fit on disks next to the
- manufacturers label, and are suitable for return address
- labels.
-
- CLM.COM prints one-up labels in standard data quality
- 10 cpi. print on most any printer. This will meet many of
- your label needs and help you determine if you need a custom
- version of CLM.
-
- The following is a brief explanation of some of the
- features. All commands are displayed on the screen.
-
- EDITING - You may edit the label on the screen, moving
- from line to line until satisfied. All the editing commands
- are listed on the screen.
-
- CENTERING - By positioning the cursor at the far left of
- a line you can use [INS] or [DEL] to center the line. If it
- will not move further to the right but there is space there,
- delete the extra spaces at the end of the line.
-
- PRINTING - Pressing [CTRL][P] will print the label on the
- screen. If you get a beep with this action, the printer is
- not ready. Repeating [CTRL][P] will print the label on the
- screen as many times as needed. If using a 3-up version of
- CLM it will be necessary to position the labels in the
- printer so the print head is at the right level to print the
- desired label. [CTRL][L] will change the number of the label
- across that will be printer, counting left to right, 1 to 3.
-
- DIRECTORY - To view the directory of the disk in the
- current drive press [F1]. If you are using a hard disk, set
- the current drive at the DOS prompt to A:, and call CLM from
- the A> prompt (ex. C:\CLM ). Then you can view the directory
- of disks placed in drive A:.

-
- CUSTOM CLM - There are hundreds of printer codes used to
- access different printers special features. If you would
- like a version of CLM specially designed to use the features
- of your printer, fill out the form below and mail it to me
- with $10 donation. I will make a custom version of CLM for
- your printer, using the most recent revision of CLM and send
- it to you.
-
-
- PUBLIC DOMAIN - CLM.COM, CLM.DOC, and CLM-OKI.COM are in
- the public domain and may not be sold. Copy and share them
- as you like. Custom versions of CLM are copyrighted and
- require a $10 donation for legal use.
